1938
The only fragrance company in Indonesia, named Alhamid & Co, was established in Surabaya. In the same year, it successfully took over two companies simultaneously, Royal Chemical Company and NV Exelsior.
1969
Alhamid & Co expanded and changed its name to PT Sriwangi, gaining the trust to take over the operations of North Western & Co.
1970
PT Sriwangi changed its name to PT Nilam Widuri and relocated its operations to Jakarta.
1984
PT Nilam Widuri continued to advance and established a factory on a 13,712 m² land with a building area of 7,532 m2 in Gunung Putri, Bogor. This factory is equipped with a complete Quality Control and R&D laboratory, including advanced equipment such as GC-MS, Refractometer, and many more.
2010
PT Nilam Widuri expanded the land area by 5,115 m² and renovated the building to meet international factory standards. The company also added state-of-the-art laboratory and production equipment to meet increasing production demands.
2017
PT Nilam Widuri expanded its buildings Research & Development, production areas, warehouse, and Beauty & Care Research. The company also added supporting tools and machines to continually support innovation, product development, and better meet customer needs.
